During the tourist season between the end of April and the beginning of October, passengers may choose to sail to Venice from various ports in Istria; both Slovenia and Croatia. When you choose your holiday destinaton along the in Slovenian or Croatian coast on the Istrian peninsula, you can also choose the port from which you will sail to Venice. The harbour in Piran is located in the centre of the city, next to the red lighthouse.

The harbour in Umag is located in the old town, next to hotel Kristal.

The harbour in Poreč is located in the centre of the city, next to the Riviera Hotel.

Rovinj has 2 ports: in the city centre and in the northern part of the city (Valdibora).

The port of Pula is located next to the Franje Josipa I Park close to the arena.

The San Basilio port in Venice is located next to the Jewish canal in the sestiere Dorsoduro.
